Make the Most of Your Season with Holiday Skip-A-Pay!
The holiday season is a time for celebration, giving, and enjoying time with loved ones. But for many, it’s also a time when expenses can pile up quickly. Americans are estimated to spend about $832 each this holiday season. Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union offers a Holiday Skip-A-Pay program to help you ease your financial load this holiday season.
With the Holiday Skip-A-Pay program, you can apply to skip one monthly payment on each qualifying loan for a small processing fee of just $35 per skipped payment. This means more room in your budget for gifts, travel, or anything else you may need during this festive season!
How It Works
You can choose to skip one loan payment in November 2024, December 2024, or January 2025 on each of your qualifying loans. Here’s how to apply:
- Reach out to your local GHFCU branch for a Skip-A-Pay form
- Complete the form for each loan you want to skip a payment on.
- Submit the form by the due dates:
– For November 2024, submit by October 15, 2024.
– For December 2024, submit by November 15, 2024.
– For January 2025, submit by December 16, 2024.
- Pay the $35 processing fee per loan skipped. You can either include a check or authorize the deduction from your Georgia Heritage FCU checking or savings account.
What Loans Qualify?
While many of our loans are eligible for this program, there are some exceptions. Loans that do not qualify for the Skip-A-Pay program include:
- First mortgage loans
- Home equity loans
- Personal lines of credit
- Phoenix credit rebuilder loans
- Certain share certificate secured loans
- Credit cards
If you have purchased credit life, credit disability, GAP, or a vehicle warranty, please review your policy as skipping a payment may affect your coverage.
At least six full monthly payments must have been received and the loan be paid current to qualify, with no previous skip-a-payments having been granted since February 2024.
Simple and Secure
You can send your completed form via fax to 912-629-4055 or securely email completed form to member.service@gaheritagefcu.org. You are also welcome to stop into one of our branches to complete and submit your form. Be sure to include all necessary details, such as your account and loan numbers, signatures, and how you will cover the processing fee.
