We offer two Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union youth programs to help young members start their savings journey. Learn more about our youth memberships, which include Kidz Club and Freedom Club programs! Read below for more information and to see which one best fits your little one.
Getting Started
- Complete membership application to join
- $5 opening deposit
- Child’s Social Security Card required
- Kids must have an eligible adult joint owner on the account. The adult must present a valid government-issued photo ID (state-issued driver’s license or identification card, military ID, or passport)
Youth Accounts

- No monthly service fees
- Monthly dividends paid on minimum balances of $100
- Mobile App with Mobile Banking is available
- Scholarship opportunities for high school seniors

Freedom Checking
Requirements
- Must be between the ages of 13 and 17
- The minimum opening deposit is $25
- Must have an adult joint owner on the youth account
