What is BNPL?
BNPL is a feature that allows you to break a purchase into smaller, more manageable payments, that will be automatically withdrawn from your checking account– no more missing due dates! Instead of facing one large payment upfront, you’ll have the convenience of spreading your payments out over time, with no hidden fees. Eligible members will see their BNPL offers built into their online or mobile banking!
There are two different types of BNPL offers:
- Plan Your Purchase offers are for members who need funds upfront to make a purchase and would like to pay for the loan in installments over time.
- Split Your Payments offers are available to members who have already made eligible debit card purchases and would like to pay for those purchases in installments over time.

Who Can Use BNPL?
BNPL is available to GHFCU members in good standing who have an active checking account and debit card. The offers you see are based on your individual account, members with things like direct deposit are more likely to receive offers. If you don’t see an offer right away, don’t worry, you may become eligible later based on your account activity!
What Members Should Know
- Getting Started: You’ll see BNPL offers when you log in to Mobile or Online Banking. Eligible purchases will be displayed for you to choose from.
- Payments Made Easy: Once you select an offer, payments are set up automatically, no need to schedule reminders.
- No Hidden Surprises: BNPL is designed to be straightforward. You’ll always know how many payments you have and when they’re due.
