1st PlaceCailan Howard
"My name is Cailan Howard. I am a class of 2022 senior at South Effingham High School. Aside from many clubs I participate in at South Effingham, I am a four-year Varsity Track and Field/Cross Country athlete. I am attending Augusta University in the fall and plan on majoring in either Biology or Kinesiology, as well as being on the Track and Cross Country teams. My goal after school is to start working toward becoming a Pediatrician because I want to be able to help the community and the best way to start that is to help the children. Winning this scholarship means so much to me because it helps pay for some of my essential college needs and helps me to be one step closer to achieving my goals."
2nd PlaceCameron Walker
"My name is Cameron Walker, and I’m a senior at Georgia Connections Academy. Upon graduation, I will be attending Georgia Southern University in the fall, majoring in computer science. My goal is to become a computer systems analyst, so that I can play a part in advancing and improving upon technology in the digital realm, not just for businesses, but for the people. This scholarship provides me with the resources necessary to make this goal a reality."
