Volunteers
YOU TOO CAN MAKE AN INTERNAL DIFFERENCE IN THE CREDIT UNION
For more information about becoming a credit union volunteer on our Board of Directors or Supervisory Committee, please contact us at volunteer@gaheritagefcu.org.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Directors serve three-year terms and participate in board dinner meetings that are routinely held at 5 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Board members also are expected to attend the Annual Meeting in March and the Strategic Planning Session in October.
Board members should be knowledgeable about basic finance and accounting practices. Some training is offered, and online training programs are available to volunteers.
SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
The committee’s goal is to safeguard members’ assets within the credit union and address members’ complaints in a structured and efficient manner.
